About This Product
Progressive Suspension 422 Series shocks are designed specifically for Softail-style frames where the shocks are mounted underneath the bike. This heavy-duty version features a chrome finish and includes a Remote Adjustable Preload (RAP) system. The RAP allows riders to easily adjust the spring preload via a remote knob, making it simple to compensate for passengers or luggage without reaching under the frame. These nitrogen-charged shocks provide improved damping and bottoming resistance compared to stock units. Sold as a pair, they are an essential upgrade for riders seeking convenience and performance on their Harley-Davidson.
