About This Product
These 180mm Knipex StriX insulation strippers combine precision stripping with VDE safety. Individually tested at 10,000V for safe operation up to 1000 Volts, they meet IEC 60900 and VDE 0680 standards. The tool features an adjustable knurled screw and locknut to strip various wire types accurately. A bolted joint provides zero-backlash operation, while the induction-hardened shear blades can cut copper cables up to 15mm in diameter. Manufactured from forged, oil-hardened tool steel, the pliers are chrome-plated with a polished head and ergonomic multi-component grips. This universal tool is perfect for safely managing electrical repairs and custom wiring harnesses on any motorcycle.
