About This Product
S&S Super G intake manifold. Size 228. Fits 1978 to 1984 Shovelhead engines with 5.440-inch cylinder lengths. Band-type seal. Matches 96-inch stroker builds. The bore is larger to suit the Super G carb. A mismatched manifold causes vacuum leaks and rough running. Check the seal surface on the head and the band clamp. This unit seals the intake tract properly on a big-inch motor. Torque it evenly.
