About This Product
When it's time for a top-end refresh on a 1948 to 1965 Panhead or a 1966 to early 1979 Shovelhead, these James Gaskets valve guide seals are a smart upgrade. Made from heat-resistant Viton rubber, these seals are designed to withstand the high operating temperatures of vintage air-cooled heads far better than traditional materials. They are fully compatible with OEM style valve guides and help prevent oil from migrating down the valve stems into the combustion chamber. This kit is sold as a pack of four, providing a complete set for a standard two-cylinder Harley-Davidson engine rebuild.
