About This Product
These valve spring cover washers from James Gaskets are made from vulcanized fiber, providing a durable and heat-resistant sealing surface for vintage Flathead engines. Sold as a pack of ten, they are a direct replacement for OEM 18630-26. These washers are designed to fit 1926 to 1973 45-inch, 74-inch, and 80-inch Flathead models. Vulcanized fiber is an excellent material for this application as it can withstand the thermal cycles of the cylinder head while maintaining its structural integrity. Replacing these washers during a valve service is a standard practice to ensure the top end remains properly sealed and free of leaks.
