The nickel-aluminum-bronze alloy provides rapid heat transfer, helping to prevent valve sticking and premature wear in high-heat conditions. This guide is machined with a +.004 inch oversize outer diameter, making it ideal for heads that require a larger guide to achieve the correct press fit. For reference, the standard dimensions are 0.6250 inch outer diameter, 0.3745 inch inner diameter, and 1.91 inch overall length. Sold individually, these guides are a professional choice for ensuring the longevity of your 1340cc Shovelhead's valvetrain under demanding performance conditions.
