About This Product
Andrews 1.35 close-ratio third gear set fits 1941–early 1976 Big Twin four-speed transmissions equipped with loose-roller-type bearings. The set replaces the stock 1.23 ratio with a 1.35 for tighter spacing. You get a mainshaft third and fourth gear and a countershaft third gear. Sold as a set. It keeps the engine in the meat of the power band through the mid-range. Fit this when you want sharper acceleration from a vintage four-speed box.
