About This Product
Andrews' 1.35 close-ratio third gear set fits 1941–early 1976 Big Twin four-speed transmissions equipped with loose-roller-type bearings. The set replaces the stock 1.23 ratio with a tighter 1.35 for closer spacing between gears, improving acceleration and keeping the engine in its power band through the mid-range. The set includes the mainshaft third/fourth gear and countershaft third gear. Sold as a set. A well-proven upgrade for vintage Big Twin four-speeds that makes the gearbox feel more responsive during spirited riding.
