About This Product
Andrews J-grind cam for 74-inch Shovelhead motors from 1970 to 1977. The J profile is a solid street grind that works well in stock or mildly tuned engines. It drops straight into the gearcase and meshes with the existing cam drive gear. Before fitting, pull the lifters and check the foot faces for concave wear. Replace the cam bearing if it feels notchy. Use plenty of assembly lube on the lobes and journals during installation. Run the motor at varying rpm for the first twenty minutes to bed the lobes in. Sold individually.
