About This Product
Andrews' oversized Big Twin cam gear (yellow) fits 1948–1965 Panhead and 1966–early 1977 Shovelhead engines. This crimp-on gear corrects excessive backlash between the cam gear and pinion gear, eliminating the clicking noise caused by too much free play. The earlier Panhead and Shovelhead cam gear measures approximately 70mm outer diameter, distinguishing it from the late 1977-up version at around 69mm. Cam gauge pins are available separately for precise measurement before ordering. A small but critical component for quieting the gear train on your vintage Big Twin.
