About This Product
The Andrews F grind camshaft is essentially an "A" grind profile but with delayed timing specifically engineered to help eliminate "pinging" or detonation issues. This makes it a great performance option for 1948 to 1965 Panheads and 1966 to 1969 Shovelhead models. It offers .470" valve lift on Panheads and .450" on Shovelheads, providing significantly more power than a stock cam. In most cases, this cam should install with no headwork required, allowing for a cleaner installation. It is a smart choice for riders who want the extra punch of a performance cam but need to keep engine knock under control on modern fuels.
