About This Product
This Andrews R5 cam set is tailored for 1981 to early 1984 Sportster models. Sold as a set, these cams are perfect for hot street or drag racing setups on modified 900cc or 1000cc engines, including stroker builds. With a .445-inch lift, they offer a massive torque increase over stock cams and pull hard from 2000 all the way up to 7500 RPM. They are compatible with stock valve springs, though we always recommend checking valve-to-piston clearances during the build. Please note that this specific set for generator models does not include tachometer drive gears, so keep that in mind for your specific instrumentation setup.
