About This Product
For chain drive conversions requiring a .500 inch offset, this 24-tooth PBI transmission sprocket offers excellent strength and precision. It is CNC machined from 8620 alloy steel, then heat-treated and nickel-plated for a long service life. This sprocket is an essential component for moving away from the stock belt drive on 1986 to 2006 5-speed Big Twin models, excluding the 2006 Dyna, and 1991 to 2006 XL Sportster and Buell models. If you are installing this on a 1991 to 1992 Sportster, keep in mind that the lockplate bolt location varies from the standard later-model configuration.
