About This Product
This S&S 124-cubic-inch Twin Cam engine offers massive displacement with a focus on longevity and smooth power. Featuring a black and chrome finish, this low-compression version uses forged dished pistons to achieve a 10.2:1 compression ratio, making it less prone to knocking than higher compression builds. It comes equipped with 585GP Easy Start cams and fits 1999 to 2005 Dyna and 1999 to 2006 Touring models. Sold as a long block, it does not include the intake, ignition, or charging system. The heads are specially machined to maintain stock engine height dimensions, ensuring compatibility with standard performance intake systems. This is a perfect choice for a heavy touring bike where reliable, broad-range torque is the priority.
