For 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam riders (excluding 2006 Dyna) looking for serious performance, this S&S cam chest kit features 585GE gear drive Easy Start cams with a .585 inch lift. Sold as a set, this kit replaces the entire cam chest with high-performance components, including a precision oil pump, cam support plate, and performance hydraulic tappets. The gear drive system ensures perfect timing and eliminates the stock chain tensioners. To make installation easier, S&S includes adjustable chromoly pushrods that can be installed without removing the rocker boxes. This kit also upgrades the early oiling system to the improved 2007 to 2017 style, providing better oil pressure and reduced wear for a more reliable, high-output engine.
