About This Product
James Gaskets starter motor mount gasket. It is .031" fibre-reinforced paper. It fits 1967–1980 electric-start XL Sportster models. These are the Ironhead models. Replaces OEM 31488-77. Always fit a new one whenever you pull the starter motor. The gasket keeps oil inside the primary where it belongs. Do not reuse the old paper gasket. Sold as a pack of ten.
