About This Product

Barnett clutch basket lock plate. Use this to hold the clutch shell on 1957 to 1970 XL Sportster models when removing or fitting the clutch hub nut, engine sprocket and transmission sprocket. Without it the basket spins. You risk damaging the shell and bearings. The plate engages positively and gives you the leverage to break stubborn nuts or torque to spec. If you are servicing the primary on a vintage Ironhead, keep this in the toolbox. It saves time, skinned knuckles and expensive parts.

Manufacturer part number: 317-30-30003.
