For heavy-duty assembly work where maximum impact is required, this Halder soft metal insert for Simplex mallets is the professional's choice. This 40mm silver insert is rated as very hard, reaching a five on a five-point scale, and is highly heat resistant. It is manufactured from soft metal to provide a durable, high-impact strike while remaining more forgiving than a standard steel hammer. These inserts allow you to fine-tune your mallet for specific tasks by installing them directly into the hammer head housing. Please note that soft metal inserts should not be installed in aluminum hammer head housings. This insert fits Simplex mallets with a 40mm head diameter and is sold individually.
