About This Product
The S&S 510G gear drive camshaft kit is a bolt-in performance upgrade for 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam models, excluding the 2006 Dyna. Designed for 88" to 95" engines with up to 9.7:1 compression, these cams shine in the 3000 to 5500 RPM range. By switching to a gear drive system, you eliminate the common failures associated with the OEM chain tensioners and guides. This kit includes inner and outer drive gears, bearings, and gaskets. While gear drives may have a slight mechanical whine, the trade-off is vastly improved valve timing accuracy and the peace of mind that comes from a more reliable valvetrain.
