About This Product
This Lisle piston ring expander removes and installs rings without snapping them or scratching the piston. It works on ring heights from 3/64-inch to 1 1/4-inch, or 1.2mm to 6.3mm. The jaws open the ring just enough to clear the piston lands without over-stressing the metal. You need this for any top-end rebuild on a Sportster or a Big Twin. Doing the job by hand is asking for trouble. This tool puts even pressure around the ring and keeps you from ruining expensive engine parts.
