About This Product
This battery upper bolt lock plate from Colony is a faithful reproduction of the original 66302-29 plate, also known as 4417-29. It features a black parkerized finish, which is ideal for maintaining the rugged, factory look of vintage Harley-Davidsons. This lock plate is designed for 1929 to 1953 45-inch Flathead solo models, excluding Servi-Cars, as well as 1930 to 1936 74-inch and 80-inch VL models. Please note that this is the lock plate only and does not include mounting hardware. It is an essential component for securing the battery in place, preventing the upper bolts from vibrating loose during operation. This part is a must-have for any serious restoration of an early Flathead or VL.
