This air intake lever rod from Colony is a high-quality reproduction of the carburetor choke rod used on M-35 and M-75 Linkert carburetors. It features a classic black parkerized finish and is designed specifically for 1941 to 1947 Knucklehead models. This rod replaces OEM 27244-40, which was also cataloged under the earlier number 1233-40. As a vital part of the choke mechanism, this rod allows for precise control of the air intake during startup. For Knucklehead owners, having a correctly finished and properly fitting choke rod is essential for both the function of the Linkert carb and the overall period-correct appearance of the engine's left side.
