Stripped drain plug threads are a common headache on older bikes, but this Colony oversize drain plug offers a reliable fix. This chrome-plated hex plug features 7/16-20 threads, designed specifically to repair cases where the original 3/8-24 threads, like those found on OEM 700 and 453-11 plugs, have failed. Please note that installation requires tapping the hole to 7/16-24 threads. This plug fits 1936 to 1970 Big Twin and 1937 to 1973 45" crankcases, as well as 1968 to 1984 Big Twin oil pump bodies. It is a practical, high-quality solution for saving a set of vintage cases or an oil pump.
