About This Product
Accel black 5-speed starter solenoid. Fits 1980–1988 FLT/Touring and FXR models. Excludes 5-speed Softails. OEM-style replacement for Harley-Davidson parts 31489-79B and 31526-81B. The case is permanently sealed and moisture-proof. Hardened steel plunger with a high-performance contact disc. High dielectric strength end caps stop arcing and burn-through. It gives positive starter engagement. Suits Shovelhead and early Evolution touring bikes.
