This Jagg automatic oil cooler bypass valve is an essential upgrade for any bike running an oil cooler without a built-in thermostat. Machined from black anodized aluminum, this valve prevents over-cooling by allowing oil to bypass the cooler during warm-up. As the oil temperature hits 185 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermostatic actuator begins to move, and by 195 degrees, it fully closes the bypass to send all oil through the cooler. It installs easily in-line, requiring at least 3 inches of straight hose. This kit comes complete with all necessary hardware and instructions to help protect your engine from the wear associated with cold oil.
