About This Product
This MCS replacement transmission trapdoor fits 1957 to early 1984 XL Sportster models. Also known as the access door, it provides a serviceable opening to the transmission internals without requiring a full case split. This reproduction replaces Harley-Davidson OEM parts 34844-57, 34844-57A, and 34844-57B. It is a direct-fit replacement that restores proper transmission sealing and access for maintenance or repair work on classic four-speed Sportster gearboxes.
