About This Product
This chrome shift lever and dust shield kit is an OEM-style replacement for 1974 to early 1979 four-speed FX models. The kit includes the shift lever (replacing 34447-74) and the dust cover shield (replacing 34555-74), along with the appropriate screws. Note that fitting the shift lever from the 1952 to early 1979 FL and 1971 to 1973 FX kit will reverse the shift pattern to one up and the rest down, which some riders prefer for quicker upshifts.
