About This Product
MCS tappet roller repair kit for 1984–1999 Evo Big Twin and 1986–1990 XL Sportster models. It includes complete reproduction tappet rollers with needle bearings and axles. Sold as a set of four. It replaces OEM references 18534-84 and 18523-86B. Tappet rollers can fail without warning, spilling needle bearings into the engine and causing severe damage to cams, oil pump, and crankcase. Regular replacement every 60,000 km or at each overhaul is strongly recommended.
