About This Product
This chrome-finished flat metal strip plug retainer is designed for 1970 to 1999 Big Twin models, excluding Twin Cams. It provides a secure way to ensure your regulator/rectifier remains connected to the alternator stator plug. The retainer installs on the outside of the crankcase and bolts directly to the front motor mount bolt for a sturdy fit. By preventing the plugs from vibrating apart, it helps avoid common charging system failures. This part is a direct replacement for OEM number 517774 and is sold as a pack of five. It is a practical, chrome-plated upgrade that adds both a bit of shine and a lot of reliability to your bike's electrical system.
