These MCS ratchet plate rivets fit 1971 to 1975 and 1977 to early 1979 XL Sportster models. They replace OEM 8216. You need twelve rivets for a full ratchet plate assembly. This pack contains twelve. Fresh rivets stay tight and will not vibrate loose. Fit them during a clutch rebuild to keep the shifting mechanism reliable and the assembly tight.
