About This Product
Replacing a rear drive belt is a job you only want to do once, and this S&S carbon cord belt is built to last. Using Gates Poly/Carbon X7N material, it features a high-strength carbon tensile cord that virtually eliminates stretching while handling the heavy torque loads of a modern V-Twin. The polyurethane construction is highly resistant to chemicals, road debris, and abrasion, making it a significant upgrade over standard belts. This 24mm wide, 133-tooth belt is a direct replacement for OEM part number 40000001. It fits 2012 to 2017 Softail models, though it is not intended for 2014 to 2017 Breakout models. Made in the USA, it provides the reliability you need for long-distance touring or aggressive street riding without worrying about belt failure.
