Constructed from injection-molded polycarbonate thermoplastic, this shield offers high scratch and impact resistance, ensuring clarity and protection during daily commutes or long-distance touring. The interior features an anti-fog treatment to combat moisture build-up from breathing and humidity, maintaining visibility in varying weather conditions. This Gen-2 version includes an all-new baseplate kit with an improved mechanism for firmer detents across three open positions. For safety, the shield meets the AATCC-138 test standard, providing 91% UV/A and 99% UV/B light resistance to protect your eyes from sun exposure. A nickel-plated stainless-steel snap ensures a secure closure against the helmet shell, keeping the wind and road debris at bay while you ride.
