About This Product
This is an MCS countershaft 1st gear thrust washer. It is .066 inch thick. It fits the left side of the transmission on late 1984 and 1985 XL Sportster models. It replaces OEM 35847-84. Sold as a set of five. You need the correct thickness to set countershaft end play on these four-speed boxes. Too much play lets the gear jump and round off the dogs. Too little and it binds.
