About This Product
This chrome-plated jockey shifter conversion kit is for the rider who wants that old-school, hard-core shifting experience. It fits 1989 to 1999 FXST Evolution Softail models that are not equipped with rider floorboards. The kit allows for hand shifting with the left hand while the clutch is controlled by the left foot. Unlike a simple suicide clutch, this setup includes a complete rocker clutch pedal for toe-heel control, featuring a friction disc for the same safe and controllable operation found on early Harley-Davidson tank-shift models. The kit is sold as a set and includes the shifter handle, cable, rocker clutch assembly, spacers, and all necessary mounting hardware. OEM number 597401.
