It is intended as a direct replacement part for the now-obsolete ZPN 701944 and 701945 kits, ensuring that owners of these custom Harley-Davidson setups can maintain proper axle torque and safety. The castle nut design allows for the use of a cotter pin or safety wire, preventing the nut from backing off under vibration.
