Kibblewhite Precision Machining produces some of the finest valve train components in the industry, and these solid PTFE valve guide seals are built for longevity. This specific set is designed to fit a 3/8-inch valve stem and a 0.530-inch valve guide diameter. With an outside diameter of 0.626 inches and a metal choker spring, they provide a reliable seal in high-heat environments. When installing these, remember that PTFE requires a different technique than standard seals. You should roll the seal around the valve tip while applying downward pressure, ideally using a 12-point 12mm socket to catch the shoulder of the guide. This ensures you do not crush the sealing surface. These seals are sold as a set of eight for complete custom applications.
