About This Product
Putoline DOT 5 Silicone Brake Fluid is a specialized 500cc fluid designed for older Harley-Davidson models that require a silicone-based system. It features a very high dry boiling point exceeding 260°C and is non-aggressive, meaning it won't damage your paint or plastic surfaces if spilled. Unlike glycol-based fluids, DOT 5 does not absorb water, making it ideal for bikes that spend time in storage. It fits Softail, Dyna, and V-Rod models up to 2005, Touring models up to 2004, and Sportsters up to 2006. Note that it is not compatible with ABS or ASR systems and must never be mixed with DOT 3, 4, or 5.1 fluids.
