This Barnett starter ring gear conversion kit allows you to upgrade your 1990 to 1997 Big Twin from a 102-tooth to a 66-tooth design. The 66-tooth configuration is significantly more robust and is the preferred choice for high-compression or large-displacement engines that put extreme stress on the starting system. This kit includes the 66-tooth ring gear and the necessary mounting bolts. Please keep in mind that you will also need to purchase a matching starter pinion gear separately to complete the conversion. It is a smart move for any rider looking to bulletproof their primary drive and ensure reliable starting every time.
