By utilizing both the inner and outer surfaces of the synthetic filter element, they have managed to pack a massive amount of surface area into a compact, forward-facing velocity stack design. The radiused air inlet ensures some of the highest flow numbers we have seen on the bench. It is practical too; the synthetic material is water-resistant, meaning you can usually skip the rain sock, and it is completely oil-free—just rinse and reinstall. The integrated breather system is a clever touch, using o-rings at the heads to route gases through the backing plate and directly into the throttle body, keeping the exterior look completely clean. This kit fits 2016 to 2017 Softail models, the 2017 FXDLS, and 2008 to 2016 Touring and Trike models equipped with electronic throttle.
