About This Product
The Daytona E-drive converter is a clever solution for riders who want to install a modern electronic speedometer while keeping their vintage drivetrain intact. This sensor fits 1936 to 1983 Big Twin models equipped with a transmission-driven speedometer. It installs directly onto the stock mechanical transmission drive using your original speedometer nut. The converter then sends electronic pulses to your new gauge, allowing for a seamless transition to electronic instrumentation. The sensor requires a 12V power source and connects via three 120cm wires for power, signal, and ground. Please note that your electronic speedometer will require calibration after installation to ensure accurate speed readings on the road.
