About This Product
S&S inner valve spring for .550 inch lift. This is the correct spring for S&S Shovelhead-style heads built before November 2000. Heads produced after that date run a .590 inch lift kit, so check your dates. It is a stock replacement inner spring. Fit it when you are refreshing the valvetrain on an early S&S top end. The spring keeps the valve under control at speed. Do not mix it up with the later spec.
