About This Product
S&S cast iron valve guide is standard size and fits intake or exhaust. S&S lists it for their Shovelhead-style and Knucklehead-style engines. It also fits late 1979 to 1984 OEM Shovelhead models. Cast iron retains oil well and wears evenly. Fit it when the old guide has ovalled or started to smoke. Machine it to the same spec as the factory guide and press it in with a steady hand and a drift.
