About This Product
This MCS chrome rear mechanical brake backing plate replaces OEM 41650-37. It fits 1941 to 1957 Big Twin models with the mechanical rear drum. The plate carries the shoes and anchors the linkage. Chrome finish over steel. Check your drum and linkage for wear before fitting. A warped plate ruins brake alignment and costs you stopping power. These early drums need a straight plate to stop true.
