About This Product
This S&S big bore kit is a serious performance upgrade for 1984 to 1999 Evolution Big Twin engines. It converts your stock 80-inch motor into an 88-inch powerhouse using 3-5/8 inch big bore cylinders. The kit includes natural aluminum finish cylinders, forged pistons, rings, wrist pins, and all necessary head and base gaskets. By retaining the stock 4-1/4 inch stroke, you can expect excellent engine longevity while enjoying a significant bump in torque and a 9.2:1 compression ratio. Please note that the crankcase spigots must be bored to accept the larger cylinders. Additionally, because these cylinders are slightly shorter than stock, you will need to use a specific S&S Super E manifold and shorter pushrods to complete the installation.
