Athena stator cover gasket for the 1999 to 2002 Honda XL1000 Varadero. This seals the alternator cover on the 1000cc V-twin. Fit it when you pull the cover for stator work or charging system repairs. It stops oil leaking out and dirt getting in. The factory gasket compresses and hardens over time. Do not try to reuse it. Fit a new one every time.
