About This Product
This is an Athena stator cover gasket. It seals the alternator cover on 1983 to 1988 Honda VT 500cc models. The gasket sits between the cover and the engine case. It keeps the oil inside where it belongs. Fit this whenever you pull the stator cover for charging system work or inspection. Do not reuse the old one. It will not seal properly second time around.
