The aluminum construction allows for better thermal expansion, which results in a significantly quieter valve train during operation. They are designed for use with stock-style adjustable tappets and lifters on 1936-1947 1000cc and 1200cc Knucklehead engines with standard 5.530 inch length cylinders.
