About This Product
When a transmission case has seen a lot of miles, the bore for the countershaft bushing can sometimes become slightly oversized. This MCS countershaft bushing is designed for the starter side and features a +.005 inch oversize outer diameter to compensate for wear in the case. It fits late 1976 to 1979 4-speed Big Twin models and utilizes a caged roller design for smooth operation. While it replaces the standard OEM 36045-76, the extra material on the outside ensures a tight press fit in older housings. It is an excellent solution for salvaging a vintage transmission case during a comprehensive overhaul.
