About This Product
MCS feed pump vane spring, part number 971227. It fits 1937 to 1973 45 inch Sidevalves and 1937 to 1948 74 inch and 80 inch Big Twin Sidevalves. It replaces OEM 26286-37 and is sold in a pack of ten. These disappear into the shop rag or sag after decades of heat cycles. Fit a fresh one whenever you pull the vanes. Cheap insurance against low oil pressure.
