About This Product
MCS shifter clutch for first gear in the 45-inch Flathead three-speed transmission without reverse. It replaces OEM 35441-41 and 2298-41B. It fits 1941 to 1952 45-inch Flathead models. The dogs on this clutch engage the first gear. Worn dogs let the transmission jump out under load. Sold individually. Inspect the gear dogs for wear too, or the new clutch will not hold.
