About This Product
This MCS shifter clutch is designed specifically for the first gear in 45" Flathead three-speed transmissions that do not feature a reverse gear. It serves as a replacement for OEM 35441-41 and 2298-41B. This part fits 1941 to 1952 45" Flathead models. The shifter clutch is responsible for sliding into engagement with the gear, and worn dogs can cause the transmission to pop out of gear under load. Sold individually, this component is manufactured to provide the positive engagement and durability required for vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycles, ensuring your WL stays in gear when you need it most.
