About This Product
This is an MCS 12V black voltage regulator and rectifier. It replaces OEM part number 74510-64 on 1965 to 1977 Sportster and 1965 to 1969 FL Big Twin models. It takes the place of the original mechanical or early solid-state regulator. Old charging systems on Shovelhead and Ironhead bikes get erratic after fifty years. The black finish keeps the look period-correct. Wire it in, set the mounting bracket solid, and your battery will hold steady voltage again.
